Spamtrap is a web app that allows you to easily manage your email account. It helps you to free space by deleting unwanted emails, and to block annoying newsletters and spammers by blocking incoming emails from a sender. We have a user-friendly interface that provides you with the necessary data to make the decision about your emails grouped by sender.
There are many reasons to choose Spamtrap over competitors:
● We use official email service providers APIs, and our app is passing a verification process to guarantee it’s safe and compliant with the terms of service of your email service provider.
● Your privacy is our priority: we don’t sell your data or share it with any 3rd parties. We only get necessary metadata from your emails header for the functioning of the app, we don’t read your emails or store them.
● Fair pricing: We have a free forever plan, and our paid plan is only $0.99/month or $9.99/Yearly.
If you choose to unsubscribe from a sender, we create a filter on your email account that moves all the incoming emails from that sender to your trash bin, and you will not get annoyed by the notifications of these emails.
Actually we support Gmail accounts, and soon we will add more providers.
We access information necessary for Spamtrap account creation: your email address, name, and country(based on your IP address). We don’t read or store your emails content, we only get necessary metadata to create and manage filters from the emails header, like: The sender information, the date, and the recipient information, the email status if it’s read or not.
Yes, at any moment you can cancel your paid subscription (if any), and delete your account. This process will undo the changes made on your email account to filter emails, and will revoke the access of Spamtrap app to your email account, so you don’t have to do it manually. This also removes all your data on our system. If you delete your account, and you want to use the app again, you just sign up again as you did the first time.
Yes, you can easily resume receiving emails to your mailboxes again from a sender that you have already unsubscribed from by just going to the senders section on your dashboard, choosing the unsubscribe tab, and clicking the “keep” button next the sender you want to resume receiving emails from.
In case you have cleaned some emails by mistake, you can restore them again in a delay of 30 days (for Gmail), because we don’t delete emails permanently, we just move them to the trash bin. If you didn’t remove them from the trash bin manually, you can go in your dashboard to the senders section, choose the Cleaned tab, and click the “Restore” button next to the sender you want to restore emails from. This process will move back all emails in your trash bin from that sender back again to your inbox.
Yes. Spamtrap doesn’t only allow you to unsubscribe from newsletters, but from all senders you have received emails from. In case you are receiving spam emails, you can easily block these senders by using in our dashboard, in the inbox section, the senders list search field and find these spammers and block them.
Actually, all our payments data and subscriptions are hosted and managed by Stripe payments.
